jQuery UI is a collection of core interaction classes and widgets to build rich web applications. It's the official UI plugin for jQuery, as Scriptaculous is for Prototype.

Some, but not all features are: Drag & Drop, Sortables, Resizables, Selectables and many widgets that use these core components.
